OK this is a little advance but I'm going to put it out there. Recently I learned about Virtual Machines. This is a really cool tool. It allows you to to run another operating system within your current OS. So basically you can run Linux from your windows desktop . this is a great way to try Linux for the first time if you want to.So how do you do this? download and install VMplayer at https://www.vmware.com/support/pubs/player_pubs.html.
